Seed of Good Health
My Healthy Food…Begins With A Seed
Since I was a little girl, I have always loved eating sunflower seeds, specifically sunflower seeds with their shells on.
It is only within the past few years that my taste for seeds, and knowledge of their nutritional value, has expanded.
All seeds are high in fiber, vitamin E, and monounsaturated fats that keep our heart healthy and our body free from disease.
Seeds are a great source of protein, Omega 3’s, iron, minerals, zinc, and many other life-enhancing nutrients.
When purchasing seeds, opt for organic and raw only. Gently soak your seeds to increase enzyme activity and promote greater absorption of nutrients to the body.
Today, some of my favorite healthy seeds are: Pumpkin Seeds, Flax Seeds, Hemp Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Chia Seeds, and Sunflower Seeds.
