“…But I Love Cheese”
My Healthy Food Does Not Include This!
Have you ever felt like you couldn’t give up cheese?
It’s really not your fault, and you are not alone!
What if I told you that cheese is actually an addictive drug?
The surprising news is that in 1981, researchers reported finding traces of the chemical MORPHINE, a highly addictive OPIATE! It turns out that morphine found in cow’s milk is meant to ensure that their offspring will bond very strongly with their mothers and get all the nutrients and fat they need to grow from a 50 pound calf to a 1,500 pound cow.
Researchers also discovered the protein CASEIN, which breaks into casomorphins when it is digested, and it also produces opiate effects. In cheese, casein is concentrated, and so is the level of casomorphins, so the pleasurable effect is greater.
Neal Barnard, MD said, “Since cheese is processed to express out all the liquid, it’s an incredibly concentrated source of casomorphins – you might call it dairy crack.”
Begin Your Day with Purpose
Setting a clear intention first thing in the morning allows you to imagine and envision the direction of your day and have greater control over the outcome.
When you decide to set your intention, it is best to do so in a positive, present, and affirmative manner. You want to avoid negative intentions, such as “I will not eat sugar today”, but instead “I intend to nourish my body with health and love”.
In this way, you are affirming a positive thought rather than a sense of guilt, deprivation, or inadequacy.
Ask yourself what is important to you: for your health, for your life, for your family, and begin each day with a clear and positive message of what you intend to do to achieve your purpose. Begin your day with purpose by setting it up for success!
